Marwan ElShorbagy Replaces Injured Youssef Ibrahim

World No.9 Marwan ElShorbagy has been called up to the PSA Squash Tour Finals presented by TWG Global after the withdrawal of World No.5 Youssef Ibrahim due to injury.

ElShorbagy, who by virtue of qualifying ninth in the Race to the Finals presented by TWG Global standings, is the first reserve in the case of an injury in the men’s line-up, will make his fifth appearance at the season-ending event.

Ibrahim’s withdrawal was widely expected after the Egyptian underwent surgery on his injured left shoulder, which he had dislocated on numerous occasions over the last 18 months on tour. Ibrahim had previously qualified in fifth position in the Race to the Finals presented by TWG Global.
